NOTW: Color Club imagination

First of all, I'd like to apologise for not posting for a week, I've not been very well but I'm starting to feel a little bit better so I'm hoping I'll feel a lot better tomorrow :) Thank you for sticking with me though! Now onto my nails! I've used two Color Club polishes that I picked up in TK Maxx with another two for £4.99 (a bargain? I think so!) My only problem with these polishes is that they don't have names, and I can't find them ANYWHERE! So I made my own up. 'Frozen Dreams' because I feel the colour kind of reminds me of a cold lavender colour, and 'Seven Years Bad Luck', well, because the glitter polish reminds me of broken mirrors. Oh so inventive, I know. Anyway, the formula of 'Frozen Dreams' is actually really nice, 2 coats and it was perfectly opaque and 'Seven Years Bad Luck' is actually really nice as well, what you can see is 2 coats worth. As for staying power, with a top coat, it lasted 3 days before I got quite a large chip but I think I can live with that seeing as I only paid £4.99! I really enjoyed this combo, and I think it'll be a combo I use a lot! And as for getting the polish off, easier than most, I must say!

What do you think of this combo? Have you used Color Club before?

  1. Oh I love this! I've never used this brand before but I may have a hint for it.
The colours are beautiful, I'm a massive fan of neutral shades & this is a really lovely way of spicing up those kind of shades with the glitter.

Lovely blog, you have a new follower :)

    1. Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it! I'm totally with you on the neutral shades, I like to add a little something to them, especially as we're still in summer but I do think this would be a great winter colour, very icy :) xxxx
