Day before Wednesday Wishlist #7

Hello my dears, hope you're having a good evening as I am! Wimbledon and Pokemon Monopoly, oh heck yes!

Before all the fun starts I thought I'd give you lovely people my wishlist this week. I genuinely missed doing this last week and I'm glad I'm back to do one.
So here we go!

1. VECTRA4 Canvas Studded Slippers: Topshop £28 // 2. Black High Waist Crochet Short: Miss Selfridge £35 // 3. Floral Lace Flippy Tunic: Topshop £32 // 4. Stand Up Bunny Ring: Topshop £6.50 // 5. Navy Swan Peplum Top: Dorothy Perkins £22 // Black Wedge Brogues: New Look £19.99

1.  So, who is else is absolutely adoring these shoes? I know I'm rather late but I've been trying to put off my love for them but I just can't do it anymore, they are beautiful.

2. I've been seeing shorts like this everywhere and apart from a Topshop Aztec pair, these are the others I am in love with. I love the floral crochet design and the darkness of the denim.

3. I saw this dress in Topshop yesterday and it's much lovelier in real life. Very very girly and perfect for the summer. I enjoy the lace panels very much.

4. Anything bunny related I actually need in my life, it's getting slightly out of hand now but I can't help myself. It's just so pretty!

5. I actually really love the new trend of peplum tops, I think they are so flattering on all body shapes and this one is just so different and fun. Much more me than just a plain top!

6. I've been meaning to re buy a pair of brogues and the small wedges from New Look are everywhere recently and when I saw these I thought they were the best of both worlds! I'm not the tallest of women (5') so I think I need to be wearing a wedge most days and I think these would be perfect.

What do you think of my choices? Anything you can't live without this week?

Day before Wednesday Wishlist #6

Good evening my dears!

Time for another wishlist which is really not good for my well being seeing as I can't actually go and buy anything, boo hiss! Seriously though, HOW EXPENSIVE ARE GLASSES?! I had an eye test today and it turns out I need glasses for close study, computer work and reading but the only glasses we could find that suited my apparently tiny face were £99 on top of the £10 eye test. £109!! Oh well, I'm sure they'll help me seeing as I'm already beginning to feel a headache come on!

Anyway, do you want to see my picks? Of course you do!

1. Latin tank by Tee and Cake: Topshop £20 // 2. Cat ring: Topshop £8.50 // 3. Orange Aztec vest: River Island £8 // 4. Flat fox gold ring: Dorothy Perkins £5 // 5. Light coral tassel cross body bag: River Island £25 // 6. Coral swallow print top: Dorothy Perkins £12

1. Ever since watching Gilmore Girls, I've had a love for Latin phrases and I thought this simple tank was lovely for a effortless outfit which looks like a lot of effort has gone in. I'd team this up with pearls and a skirt, grunge meets pretty :)

2. How cute is this ring?! Ever since getting a cat I have been obsessed with cat prints and this ring is no different but I think £8.50 is a little steep so I'll probably love from afar with this one :(

3. I think I might have to go and find this vest because I think it'd be a perfect summer addition to my wardrobe. It's simple but on trend and with be great teamed up with a pair of denim shorts when I get my bum to Greece.

4. What is it with me and animal print, I really think I'm obsessed! This fox ring is just so cute and I don't think £5 is too bad a price either. If I see it in Manchester tomorrow, I think it's a sign ;)

5. Coral is definitely one of my favourite colours, a perfect summer shade that instantly brightens an outfit, and your mood and this lovely bag definitely brightens my mood. I think it's a lovely size just for the essentials and would look great with the Aztec vest and denim short combo on holiday!

6. Another coral item, can you believe it?! With an animal print?!?! I bet you can't believe it at all. Is it me or does a scallop edge to anything make it look that little bit classier, I think it does. I just love this top and you could team it up with pretty much anything, how versatile!

What do you guys think of my choices? What's your favourite item on my list?

FASHION: Day before Wednesday Wishlist #5

Hello my dears, how are you all this evening? Good I hope!

Let's get down to business, I wasn't too enthralled with the 'New In' sections this week but I still managed to find 6 things that I like rather a large amount. Can somebody pay me for looking at the Topshop website? That would be lovely.

1. Ice Cream Print Shorts: Topshop £30 // 2. Open Pearl Ring: Topshop £7.50 // 3. Co-ord Floral Blazer: Topshop £65 // 4. Parisian Polka Dot Print Blouse: New Look £14.99 // 5. Scallop Waist Detail Short: Miss Selfridge £32 // 6. Cream Raffia Lady Bag: Dorothy Perkins £29.50

1.  I love how fun these shorts are, very me and perfect for the summer period and I don't think £30 is too extortionate :)

2. I love the simplicity of this ring, but how it's quite different as well. Plus, I ADORE pearls, I used to try and steal my mum's pearl necklace when I was little, oops!

3. I only own one blazer, but I love how they can dress up any outfit and this one is very summery and would be lovely on the days where it's too cold for a cardigan but too hot for a coat. I hope we have a few of those days soon.

4. I have to admit, the picture of this isn't very good but I saw this in store today and it was the only thing that really caught my eye. The coral/pink colour is dead on and I love polka dots to death :)

5. As you can pretty much tell, I like coral/pink on white and I really like the look of these shorts but I don't think I could afford both of the shorts and I don't know which ones I like more. Help?!

6. If you saw my last wishlist, I posted a lovely bag from Marks & Spencer, but I saw this one as well and I really cannot make a decision. Both are simple every day colour, both are big enough to be everyday and both look absolutely fantastic. I really don't know. Help me again?

What do you think of my choices? What's your favourite piece?

FASHION: Day before Wednesday Wishlist #3

Good evening my lovely followers. Hope you've enjoyed the sunshine! I've been stuck in work for the majority of it but I'm not complaining, I'm lucky to have found a job in this climate, and I absolutely love it! Something completely different to I have ever done before  and the perks are utterly fantastic. I love the people I work with so the heat and my painful tootsies are totally worth it :)

Anyway, to my wishlist. There were so many items I absolutely fell in love with this week so these were my top choices:

1. Lace Shirt Dress by Coco's Fortune: Topshop £45 // 2. Bright Block Colour Satchel: New Look £19.99 // 3. Shell Pink Peter Pan Collar Bird Top: New Look £19.99 // 4. Spike and Pearl Collar: Dorothy Perkins £10 // 5. Interlocking Hearts Necklace: Topshop NO PRICE FOUND // 6. Black Print Ankle Grazer Skinny Jeans: River Island £40 // 7. Fierce Pink Skull Sandal: Miss Selfridge £28 // 8. Orange Striped Bird Print Tea Dress: New Look £27.99

1. Now, the £45 price tag might be scaring me a lot but I can't not love this. It's so summery and so pretty, something I would constantly wear and as one of my best friends say, each wear = £1. So if I wear it over 45 times, totally worth it ;)

2. The size, the price, the look = utterly perfect. I like to stand out a little and I think this satchel would be brilliant for this, and we all know neon is rather in right now.

3. I love anything with a bird print and this peter pan collar top is so pretty. I like the little bird cages and the cherry blossoms all over.

4. I've been seeing necklaces like this all over the blogging world and love them so much but I thought they were a bit to 'grrrr' for me but then I came across this one. I think the pearls makes it slightly more feminine, much more me :)

5. Now, when I made this wishlist a couple of days ago this lovely dainty necklace had a price so now I'm going have to go hunting in stores for this because it's just so pretty.

6. I need to dive into the ankle grazer community and I think these ones from River Island are brilliant. The pops of colour are lovely and I really enjoy the print.

7. Okay, I think I have actually fallen in love with these sandals and I will definitely be buying these as soon as possible. They will be perfect for my holiday and I just want them ;D

8. Again with the bird print, and it's a little orange! I love orange :D I think the bird print is dainty and pretty. Utterly lovely for the upcoming summer months and my holiday :)

I hope you've enjoyed my picks this week!

Would you buy any of these? What's your favourite item?

FASHION: Day before Wednesday Wishlist #1

Hey lovelies,

This is my first wishlist for 'The Art of Turning Pages' and seeing as I get my Graze boxes on Wednesday and want to do a post for them, I'm now renaming this one 'Day before Wednesday Wishlist.' Original, I know.

1. Sleeveless Tapestry Denim Shirt: Topshop £35.00 // 2. Scrabble Magnets: Topshop £8.00 // 3. Cut Out Peep Toe Wedge: New Look £24.99 // 4. Blue Spot Lattice Strap Playsuit: New Look £24.99 // 5. Fleur Nude Side Bow Sandal: Miss Selfridge £22.00 // 6. Pastel Bead Collar: Dorothy Perkins £12.50 // 7. Floral Cut Out Bowler Bag: New Look £19.99 // 8. Froggy Ring: Top Shop £8.50

1. I absolutely adore this denim shirt, the detailing on the back and over the shoulders is lovely and it'd be perfect for the summer. Help though guys, what would you wear this with? Is Jessie J right when she said you can't trust anybody who wears denim on denim?!

2. Oh my goodness, I NEED these in my life. I don't even have my own fridge but they will be on it when I am lucky to have my own home!

3. I tried these wedges on in store when waiting for a friend and they look so cute on and I can't get them out of my head. I don't really have a pair of plain black heels/wedges and I really think they would be a perfect addition to my shoe collection!

4. I saw this at the same time as the wedges and instantly fell in love. Perfect for your summer holiday or pretty underneath a denim jacket and flats for a cute day look. I neeeeeed this!

5. Okay, I know I've said this a lot now but I need these as well. I have a summer holiday in September and I think these little flat will be perfect for the day and night. These will be a holiday staple of mine.

6. Okay, I'm going to admit, I literally have no idea how to wear one of these but when I saw it I wanted to learn. The pastel colours are so pretty and perfect for the summer.

7. I'm a sucker for a handbag, like most of us ladies and this one was no exception. I love the floral detail a lot and the colour of the bag means it will go with anything and big enough to use as a day bag. I will be investing in this beauty, if I can find it.

8. I LOVE frogs, just love them so when I saw this on the Topshop website, I did a little squeal, it's just so crazy cute! And I need to add to my ring collection, I only have 3 not including the engagement ring! :(

So, that was my first wishlist. And I literally can't not have every single piece on it. I hope you liked my ramblings!

Any items you like on my list?

Lots of love,
Sia xxx

Mini haul ♥

Today me and my fiancé, David met a friend we hadn't seen in a looooooong time in town seeing as we're both free from university now and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to see if I can find black work trousers and shoes for my job trail/interview on Monday. I was lucky and found both of these items and also got a couple of things as well, oopsie!

These beauties are from New Look but I unfortunately cannot find them on their website. They were £12.99 and with the current 20% off for students I thought £10.39 was a very decent price for them but beware, they size rather big! I need at least 2 pairs of insoles for them but luckily I have a pair lying around already so bought a pair of foam inserts for £3.50 from Clarks. I think they'll be perfect for work, and everyday outings.

Now, I am a sucker for anything with peace signs on and this cute ring was only £4 from Dorothy Perkins. They also had a student discount offer on at 15% so £3.40 was a decent price I think, especially as I'll get a lot of wear out of it.

Technic - Mermaid: this brand I have only found in Bodycare but at 99p, I couldn't say no. I already have an 'Ibiza Mix' like glitter polish from this make and I find it very pretty on anything I use it on, and easy to apply so I was very tempted by 'Mermaid' today and gave into the temptation. I will do a review of this once I'm able to apply varnish to my nails again!

Now we are hitting very late Christmas presents from my friend Sarah. I literally cannot wait for a spare moment to be able to read this. I have stopped myself watching the film so I can read this first which means I won't be able to watch the film for a good while. Oh well, uni comes first, right?

I adore Soap & Glory products, they are literally all I use so when I unwrapped this bad boy I was a rather happy bunny! The 'youcube' contains a 50ml 'Righteous Butter' body moisturiser, a 50ml 'Flake Away' body polish, a 75ml 'Clean on Me' shower gel/creme and a 50ml 'Hand Food' hand cream. I haven't tried the moisturiser or the body polish and I can't wait to get the chance!

For items I didn't actually need today I only spend £4.39 so I'm actually rather happy with what I brought home.

What do you think? Do you use Soap & Glory? Have you read 'The Help'?

Lots of love,
Sia xxx
