Autumn Boots Wishlist

Picture of Autumn Boots Wishlist
From left to right: White Zip Front Pointed Boots // Black Leather Smart Boot // Tan Snakeskin Patchwork Block Heel Ankle Boot // Tan Shearling Lined Ankle Boot // Dark Red Patent Croc Textured Block Heel Ankle Boot // Grey Chunky Suedette Chelsea Boot // BETSY Velvet Boot // PLAY Laced Boot

I don't think you all need reminding of my little teeny weeny shoe addiction but here you go. I can't buy anymore shoes but doesn't mean I can't lust after them. This wishlist accidentally became a New Look wishlist but we all know that New Look are always on the ball with there footwear. I should know, I was a footwear specialist for them not so long ago. I think my favourite has to be either the White Zip Front Pointed Boots or the Tan Snakeskin Patchwork Block Heel Ankle Boot; both from New Look. I'd get so much wear out of each of them and I'm just swooning. I do think for everyday Autumn wear, the Black Leather Smart Boot from Clarks is perfect. Comfortable, warm and stylish, easy for a day at work.

Do you have a favourite from my Autumn Boot wishlist?

January Sales Haul

Sleeveless Cat Tank (£4) - Primark / Khaki Lace Back Top (£2 down from £5) - Primark / Grey Panda Print Blazer (£7 down from £15) - Primark / Real Techniques Blush Brush (£9.99: used part of a giftcard) - Boots / Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume Giftset (£13.33 down from £20) - Boots / Spike Headband (£2.50) - Primark / Aztec Statement Necklace (£3) - Primark

Yesterday, I went on a little shop around Manchester and came home with more than I was expecting. I went into Primark to look for onesie for an upcoming onesie party but I couldn't find one and on a walk through the newly renovated store (which is lovely by the way!) and my eye kept wandering. I love the statement necklace, perfect to adding a little something extra to an outfit and the headband I've been seeing on so many blogs and I loved it, so definitely had a little look for it. Opposite the jewellery was the blazer which I was wanting to get at full price but I am so happy I left it and snapped it up for less than half price! The cat top was just too cute to let go and I thought the khaki top was just a great everyday piece, especially because of the lace back and only for £2! After Primark I headed to Boots with £7 left of a giftcard ready to be spent on the Real Techniques Blush Brush which I've been wanting for ages, especially after using the Core Collection and Powder Brush which I bought a few days previously with Boots points and the other part of the giftcard! You know all the hype about the Real Techniques brushes and they really are worth the hype, soft and great to use! The last item is the the Taylor Swift Wonderstruck giftset. At the price I was genuinely not passing up the opportunity because I've had a sniff a few times and I love it. So happy to have it in my collection.

Sure Women Maximum Protection deodorant review ♥

Sure Women Maximum Protection 48 hour Anti-Perspirant deodorant (£5.30) - Boots (HERE)

You're probably thinking 'deodorant, really?!' Yes, really. This lovely every day item we all take for granted (unless you've sat next to someone who obviously hasn't heard of it on public transport) might actually be a my miracle product. Since starting puberty I have always had trouble with perspiration to a point of bullying and debating if I should pay to have botox injections to help with it. As I've got older, it's got better with age but it's still something that I'm self conscious about, until this magic stick of un-sweaty goodness! This has practically answered all of my prayers, I really can't fault it and what it's done for my confidence. Now, I've not tested its 48 hour claims because let's face it, I don't want to go that long without a shower but for the usual amount of wearing time, it's fantastic. You're told to turn the wheel at the bottom until you hear 2 clicks and it's ready to apply, and preferably you do this before you go to bed so it gets to work while you sleep. Before this, I would wake up sweaty but with this I am absolutely bone dry, I couldn't believe it. For what this product has given me, the price is completely justifiable and I know for a fact that I will not use another deodorant. Try it, I really don't think you'll be disappointed.

I'm baaaaaack!

Hello my darlings! How are you all? Hope you've not been missing me too much in my week absence but I'm back and ready and raring to get my blogging mojo back and in gear :)!

This evening I'll just keep it short and sweet and welcome you all to July, my favourite month, MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Got to love your birthday month :)

Tonight though, I wanted to give you gives an insight into a new challenge I wanted to set myself which will hopefully give me a lot of 'dosh' by the end of it.

We all know of the fantastic points card that Boots have, and now Superdrug also have jumped on the bandwagon to give us beauty lovers an alternative which is fantastic as they sell some make-up brands that Boots don't have meaning I have to use both stores.

Well, my challenge is that from the 1st of July 2012, I will not use a single point on either my Boots or Superdrug cards...for an entire year! That's right, A YEAR! This is going to be rather difficult for me because I love to spend my points on small items I generally need but I had a brainwave, why not save them for something big?! And seeing as it's my birthday in 4 days (EXCITED, YAY!) I can treat myself to a lovely 23rd birthday present and maybe graduation present next year!

It's not the biggest of challenges, especially compared to the '100 Day Spending Ban' but on the 1st of every month I'll tell you lovely people how many points I have accumulated and see how they progress every time.

As of today, I have 224 on my Boots card and 0 on my Superdrug card so let's do this shall we?!

What do you think? Want to join me?

FASHION: Make-up haul ♥

Hello there again :)

I think it's time for a confession. I am addicted to blogging. I am so sorry, but it just came out of nowhere, I don't know how to stop...

OH WELL. Want another haul post? Of course you do ;) I have to admit, haul posts are one of my favourite types of blog posts. They give you an idea of what's in the shops right now and whether you should go running to your local shopping centre or not!

Yesterday, getting ready to pop into Wigan, I decided to go through my make-up (BIG mistake!) Everything I had was down to the last dregs, or I've had them since about 2008. I apologise (maybe this should have been my confession instead?) PLEASE FORGIVE ME! Anyway, my beautiful Benefit 'Some Kind-a Gorgeous' foundation finally decided to leave my side, and my Benefit 'Dandelion' blusher as well. WHY OH WHY?!

My trip to Wigan then became a mission to get me some new make-up because let's face it, I can't go without, can I? TO BOOTS! (only because I had a voucher for 200 points when spending £20 - I can't say no to money-like points!) Now, let's get down to business, the purchases:

Rimmel - Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 26
£3.99 (RRP £5.49) in Boots

I haven't actually seen the Kate Moss lipsticks before so when I was having a gander I was instantly attracted to this one. I'm not the most adventurous of lipstick wearers (I only have 3, and one my mum gave me!) but I love this nude colour. I (obviously) don't have a colour like this in my collection so I thought 'why not?!' I took the plunge. Once my lips are in better condition I'll put a post up about this one :) I also really love the packaging. Really sleek looking but it does make me want to change my name to Kate, hmm.

Rimmel - Wake Me Up foundation in 100 - ivory, 30ml.
£8.99 in Boots

Now, it's you ladies that made me pick this one up. I usually HATE liquid foundations but seeing as I'd don't have the money to re-buy Benefit I chose to go against the little voice on my shoulder and picked it up (plus, the packaging is orange, I LOVE orange!) Now, after  1877284684647632 swatches, I had to go for ivory. Now, if you look at me, I'm not an ivory so this was a surprise, but hey, if it covers my face without me looking like a crazy one, I'm now an ivory lady!

Rimmel - Stay Matte pressed powder in 005 - Silky Beige
£3.99 in Boots

I shine, I'm a shiner. THIS KILLS ME EVERYDAY. I'm hoping that this lovely little round bundle of make up joy will keep my shining at bay. Plus, it says natural, who doesn't love natural? I decided to go with Silky Beige mostly because they didn't have Peach Glow but I do like how Silky Beige looks so all is good!

Rimmel - Match Perfection Blush in 001 - Light
£5.99 in Boots

I think you've figured it out by now, I really like Rimmel products, now I'm hoping this little haul really makes me continue to shop with Rimmel, just because I like the price. 4 items for the price of 1 foundation from Benefit, yes please. Maybe when I'm raking the money in I'll run back to Benefit with open arms crying with joy, but for now, whilst I study my life away for that money racking job, I will stick with Rimmel! I LOVED the colour of this blush, especially the 3 different joys of pink wonder! Can't wait to get it on my face!

Now, I know these aren't make up but just look how cute they are! I love owls (who doesn't?!) and for £1.50 I couldn't say no. I just fell in love!

This has been quite a long post, hope I've not bored you silly :)

What do you think of my haul? What's your favourite make-up brand?
