I'm baaaaaack!

Hello my darlings! How are you all? Hope you've not been missing me too much in my week absence but I'm back and ready and raring to get my blogging mojo back and in gear :)!

This evening I'll just keep it short and sweet and welcome you all to July, my favourite month, MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! Got to love your birthday month :)

Tonight though, I wanted to give you gives an insight into a new challenge I wanted to set myself which will hopefully give me a lot of 'dosh' by the end of it.

We all know of the fantastic points card that Boots have, and now Superdrug also have jumped on the bandwagon to give us beauty lovers an alternative which is fantastic as they sell some make-up brands that Boots don't have meaning I have to use both stores.

Well, my challenge is that from the 1st of July 2012, I will not use a single point on either my Boots or Superdrug cards...for an entire year! That's right, A YEAR! This is going to be rather difficult for me because I love to spend my points on small items I generally need but I had a brainwave, why not save them for something big?! And seeing as it's my birthday in 4 days (EXCITED, YAY!) I can treat myself to a lovely 23rd birthday present and maybe graduation present next year!

It's not the biggest of challenges, especially compared to the '100 Day Spending Ban' but on the 1st of every month I'll tell you lovely people how many points I have accumulated and see how they progress every time.

As of today, I have 224 on my Boots card and 0 on my Superdrug card so let's do this shall we?!

What do you think? Want to join me?

  1. Thank you for commenting on my blog, because through your comment I found you, and having scrolled through your blog, I have come to the conclusion that you are one lovely, funky lady.

This is such a good idea! You will be absolutely amazed how much money you will gather as well. I haven't quite lasted a whole year before, but I tend to save my points up from around this time of year until Christmas to help me out during the festivities, and usually have about £70-£80. It's Advantage Card bonkerism. And clearly worrying how much I spend in that one shop alone.... JAY ZEUS.

Good luck with your challenge! It'll be so worth it! xXx
