Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Galaxy (£5.99) - Boots

Let's face it, I was always going to jump on the bandwagon for a new lip product and I am rather glad I did on this occasion. Rimmel's Apocalips has definitely had its fair share of exposure in the bloggersphere but I really understand why it has. Galaxy is a deep pink/plum colour which is perfect for day to day for me as I like deep plum for something a little different to my normal pinky tones. First up, I love the packaging, so astro-cool which I LOVE. The meteor lid just adds to the whole thing. Now onto the actual product, the pigmentation is absolutely amazing with one swipe you're good to go and the wand that comes with it actually is better than I thought it would be. The small hole in the wand holds the extra product that you'll need so you don't use any extra product. Longevity wise, I can't fault it. It lasts for hours even with eating and drinking, it actually astounded me how well it actually lasted. I genuinely want to buy the rest of the range and now do own 3 more thanks to the lovely Lisa from Topaz & May

Have you tried any of the Apocalips range? What did you think? Do you want to try them?

  2. I've recently bought stellar but I wish I'd picked a lighter shade for everyday wear, they can be so messy when it comes to eating or drinking, but I do love them.

    I quite like this shade,

    1. I do have to admit, I leave the trademark lipstick mark when eating but the colour on my lips doesn't change! xxx
