Spa Find Calmit Extracts: Review

Spa Find Calmit Extracts* - HERE (£29.50)

Recently, Spa Find kindly sent me a bundle of gifts which included this monthly treatment. Now, I did try this but I have to be honest, I didn't think it'd make much of a difference to my skin as it's aimed towards normal/oily and aging skin so all in the name of beauty, I roped in my mother to give me a hand in reviewing this product. First up, let me tell you what this product is for. It's a monthly treatment where in one week of the month, you use up a vial of the harmonised water after cleansing and toning or alternatively, you can use all three vials in one week for a more intense treatment. This little bottle claims to control an imbalanced oily skin, tone and rebuild the skin and make facial tissues seem more supple. Now, like I said, I didn't think I'd give a good review as I don't really have oily skin but my dear mother does. For my dry skin, it did have some effects as in that it did seem to make a skin that little bit brighter, but not worth the £29.50 but for my mum, she LOVES it. Her oiliness practically disappeared and she says her skin looked much brighter! She was ridiculously happy with this product and is willing to pay the money as it is for 3 months use. She's even gone as far as to say this is her miracle product. So there you have it, if you do have oily skin, my mother is telling you to go out and try this, and you can't say no to my mum, can you? ;)

Dead Sea Spa Magik Shampoo and Hair Serum review.

Good evening my dears!

Tonight I'm here to review some of the items that were kindly sent to me by Dead Sea Spa Magik and Spa Find on Twitter. Now this post will only be for a certain couple of items I received in my goody box but I'll put the whole box on here tomorrow so you guys get a good feel of the items that you can get from these companies but I can tell you that I am incredibly excited to use each and every item in my box :)

Now let's get down to business! This review is of the Spa Magik Mineral Shampoo* and Hair Magic Serum* which I have to say, was absolutely lovely to use. Spa Magik say that "Dead Sea Spa Magik products will bring the Spa into your home, giving you a regular beauty regime with the added benefits of a healthy lifestyle." and Spa Find say "We offer spa experiences to allow you to escape from a chaotic and stressful lifestyle and find a more primitive, peaceful and natural state of being - to have totally indulgent time for ‘you’ and just ‘you’." Both brands are dead against testing on animals and want to care for the environment which is a plus for myself, and probably yourselves!

Don't you love a step by step guide? :)

I loved how the packets came with very clear instructions because I'm a novice at these things, plus I love to know how each product I use should be used properly. The shampoo is meant to revitalise hair, soothe an irritated scalp and leave a silky smooth finish. Now, I don't have an irritated scalp so I don't know about that but the other two outcomes were there for me. My hair felt brand new and so bouncy after using this. I loved it!
Now, I've never used a hair serum before so I was super excited to actually use this! It claims to give extra gloss and taming, prevent split ends and leave a silky smooth finish. I can safely say that it gave me everything apart from extra taming but my wild curls are pretty hard to tame so I wasn't expecting a miracle! I did enjoy using the serum but the smell was slightly... tangy in the shower. It reminded me of capers :| but the smell changed from this after my hair was dry and reminded me of a sweeter Head & Shoulders smell. As for how much I received in the sachet, there was a lot! I covered my hair, and then some which makes me feel a lot better about repurchasing this product because a little really does go a long way!

I have to say, I really like these products and for how it made my hair feel, I think I will repurchase this for a special treat every once in a while :)

You can purchase the shampoo from Holland & Barrett for £8.69 or on the website for £8.26 and you can purchase the hair serum from Holland & Barrett for £17.19 or on the website for £16.60.

Have you ever tried anything from this brand? Any questions?
