As you have probably seen, I've recently dyed my hair Kylie Jenner style and gone for an amazing blue ombre. It was definitely one of the best things I have ever done and whilst I was at the salon (VOX Hairdressing in Manchester's Northern Quarter, if you are local, give them a try, they are impeccable!) Jill, my hair stylist popped this little wonder in my hair. The Kevin Murphy Anti Gravity Oil Free Volumiser is a lavender scented texturiser that you pop into damp hair and dry as you normally would. It left my hair bouncy and looking thicker for days and because it is oil free it felt as lightweight as if nothing had been put in at all. Only a small amount of product is needed so this 150ml bottle will last an age, especially as I've trained my hair to only be washed twice a week. I believe £18 is a decent amount of money to spend on something I will definitely be using every time I wash my hair and gives me the result I've been craving for so long!

I've never been a hair person. As long as I can remember I have done the absolute bare minimum when it comes to my locks and I can only put it down to my overly frizzy, curly barnet that sent me to stages of grief and anger. I wouldn't go as far as saying I hated my curly hair but sometimes it did feel that way. Recently though, I've cut it into a shoulder length bob and I love my new cut. I do straighten it but thankfully I have trained my hair into only needed to two washes a week, minimising the amount of heat I use. This lead to a new problem, lack of volume. My curly hair had masses of it and I wasn't about to give that up now, so off to Boots I went on a search. Now, you ladies have raved about this, and I can see why. A couple of spritz before I leave the house and I am good to go. I cannot love this can more than I actually do, it does exactly what it says on the tin, and more so. It makes any style a pleasure to work with and my hair is uplifted. It gives my hair the texture and oomph that I crave, in a style I absolutely adore. Thank you VO5, magic in a spray can.

Way back last summer I attended the #midsummermeet in Manchester and in the EXTENSIVE goody bag we all got (seriously, it was the best goody bag I have ever received, thank you so much Lookfantastic!) there was this. Now, I'm not a big fan of hair styling, never have been but recently I was invited all to Pro Hair Live in Manchester by the girls at Essence PR to have my hair all done up by Kerastraight. I'll pop up another post about my Kerastraight experience but since having my hair done, it's love and now I can actually style my hair easily. This is where Redken Signature Look Wind Blown 05 Dry Finishing Spray comes in handy. As a finishing spray, it really makes me happy with the end result. It claims to give the hair a matte and airy finish and it does exactly that. I love a matte finish to my lips and face, but who knew that I could give the same effect to my hair! For me, it gives me the lightly tousled look I want for my hair, as well as the soft matte finish. At £12.64, I can get others for cheaper but I've still not found anything that gives what this gives, so Feel Unique, I'm coming at ya!
