Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo review

I've always had trouble with dandruff and dermatitis on my scalp and I've tried everything from Head & Shoulders, dandruff oils, steroid creams and quite literally, a hair killing shampoo from the doctor. The latter had to be one of the worst moments of my life; the shampoo took the dermatitis away, but also my hair. Clumps were falling out in the shower and I was in tears. Hence the quite dramatic hair cut. I miss my blue hair, and when my hair grows back it shall be back but for now, here is a review of the Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo.

Philip Kingsley Flaky/Itchy Scalp Shampoo 75ml (£9.50) - Feel Unique

I instantly saw a difference from the first use; my scalp was practically clear of dandruff something I have never experienced and I was amazed. I'm usually the poor sod trying to get away with scratching my head in public because my scalp is so uncomfortable but this has changed my head. I'm not completely dandruff free but it's really getting there and I'm so happy I got this. My hair also feels lovely after use as it doesn't dry out my hair like other shampoos like this have. I will be definitely buying the full size when I've used this smaller tube, even if it is £52 for 1000ml (seriously, have you ever seen a 1000ml of anything?!)

Have you tried anything Philip Kingsley?

  1. I haven't heard of this brand, but I also have struggles with dandruff -- if I find this, I'll see if I can splash the cash to get it! Right now, I'm just trying to not put too much product near my scalp when I wash my hair. :/
