Scotsburn Croft Tartan Wash Bag by Claire Ferguson* (£25) - Scotsburn Croft

When the lovely Claire Ferguson asked for bloggers on Twitter to review an item from her collection on Scotsburn Croft, I jumped at the chance. The reason being is that I LOVE tartan, a lot. I don't know why, I'm not even a tiny bit Scottish, but who cares, I just love tartan. I shall tell you a little about Claire, and how Scotsburn Croft was born. Her inspiration comes from the Highlands of Scotland and the Highland crafts men and women that came before her. In a garden shed, she began designing a range of accessories, incorporating this huge part of her life and I think she's definitely onto something here. I am totally in love with this wash bag, it's large enough to fit everything I need for a small trip away, and definitely came in handy for my skincare when we went away to London a couple of weeks ago. The tartan is absolutely beautiful and would make an amazing gift for someone who loves Scottish culture or just needs a new accessory in their lives. It also has a waterproof lining as well as being woven with Nano Sphere, which increases the water and dirt repellent properties of the fabric. How very clever. If you think £25 is too much to pay, have a look at Cath Kidston prices, you'd be paying the same amount, or more in there, and the lovely Claire is on the same journey as Cath, just at the beginning, let's give her the push she deserves!

Would you give Claire and Scotsburn Croft a go?

  1. Errr I'm also obsessed with tartan! I love autumn because I can rock tartan everyday and not be judge! And I get why the price tag, I mean the fabric make a huge difference, I hate it when I travel and my bags are soaked... so I'd definitely pay the price, I'd actually like to have a kit with different sizes and so...!! xx
