Guest Post: 5 Autumnal Nail Shades by Helen from The Lovecats Inc

Today, I have a guest post for you all from the lovely Helen from The Lovecats Inc. I adore this girl and her blog and you should definitely give it a look see. She has a lovely nail post for you today and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :)

----------  ----------

As the weather gets cooler, most people are turning to warmer, more autumnal shades. but autumn for me is steely greys, muted purples and icy tones. well, maybe one warm tone if you insist. I thought I'd pick a range of polish from different brands so you could get a feel for what's out there at the moment. so, without further delay, on with the swatches...

Essie -  Power Clutch: army green tones are all over the shops at the moment so if you're not quite into camo print, you can extend these shades to your nails instead. it's opaque in two thin coats or one thicker one and the formula dries really fast. beautiful! fragrance direct have got this particular shade for £1.99 too.

Color Club - No.20: I love purple at the moment and this shade in no exception! This particular colour came in an amazing set from TK Maxx and is opaque in one coat.

Nails Inc - Ormond Gate: The only warmer shade in my selection, but this cranberry/mauve (in some lights) colour is beautiful. Opaque in just one coat, it will flatter a lot of autumn outfits! Available from Boots and Nails Inc's website.

Rimmel - Grey Matter: This is a lighter grey tone and one of my all time favourites! it's a really flattering (can you say that with nail polish?) shade and looks great with every outfit. Opaque in two coats and available from, well, everywhere.

Models Own - Utopia: Yes, this polish had to be on the list. It's a blogger favourite and rightly so! I always wear this with a black or grey outfit as the colour goes so well. it's opaque in two coats and available from boots and models own.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I had to wrestle with fast fading light and cats wanting attention (hence the smudges on the Nails Inc polish!) to get these photos, so I hope you enjoyed seeing them! There's lots of new collections coming out this autumn, so whether you're a warm toned or cool toned sort of girl, there's plenty to choose from!

Thanks for reading and thanks to the lovely Anastasia for letting my guest post on her beautiful blog!

I love all of the polishes Helen has brought up here, and I can say I own one of them and I urge you all to jump on it, Rimmel - Grey Matter is one of the best colours I own, oh so versatile. Thank you so much for a brilliant post Helen :)

What do you think of Helen's choices? Which one is your favourite?
