Korres Sunflower & Evening Primrose Eyeshadows in Bronze Brown and Golden Bronze (£12) - House of Fraser

When I went to Skiathos a while ago, I picked up a few Korres products and by far my favourites were these little pots of joy. I use bronze/gold eyeshadows as my everyday base and these as a duo usually seem to find their way onto my lids on a daily basis. The pigmentation, especially on Golden Bronze, is incredibly good and I find they last a good 6 hours but will last until I take it off with a eye primer. £12 may seem a little steep for a single eyeshadow, but these are definitely up there with MAC and I would probably say I prefer them. They are veltet smooth, and have no fall out whatsoever. The sunflower and evening primrose oils within the product also care the delicate eye area, something we all need to keep an eye on!

Have you tried any Korres products?

Bourjois 24H Color Edition Cream to Powder Eyeshadow in 02 Or desir (£6.99) - Boots

When I was prowling the stands of Boots, like I usually do, I came across Bourjois 24H Color Edition Cream to Powder eyeshadow. Now, I remember a few bloggers talking about this but it's kind of been a mixed boat of reviews. Well, I wanted to give my pennies worth, and it's a bit so-so. This shade is one that I wear everyday because of my brown/hazel eyes, it suits the colour of my eyes really well but this one its own is really quite disappointing. It doesn't translate well to the lids at all (the swatch on my hand is after A LOT of swatching) but it does have a saving grace. This makes a beautiful primer for my everyday eye makeup which really does come in handy for myself but if you don't I wouldn't waste your £6.99 on this shade, or the range at all.

Have you tried this product? What did you think?

MAC Mineralize Eye Shadow in Gilt By Association: Review

MAC Mineralize Eye Shadow in Gilt By Association* (£16.50) - MAC

Here is another one of my duty free/holiday purchases, and I think my favourite of them all. I have been lusting after this eye shadow for a while now and I was literally over the moon to get this and have it as part of my collection. MAC describes this as a 'mineralize black with gold bronze pearl' and that is exactly what it is. I love layering this on top of a neutral background on my lid and it just pops, a perfect day look for myself as I love to have my eye makeup to be quite dramatic at all times and I think this is just what I've been looking for. Be warned though, because of the mineralised powder you can experience a little bit of fall out but I think even with this miner flaw, it's still an amazing investment seeing as you get 2.2g of product which is a lot and will last for a ridiculous amount of time.

What do you think of this eye shadow? Worth the money?

MUA 'Undressed' palette review

MUA 'Undressed' palette (£4) - Superdrug

Time for another MUA review, this time, I think I might be a little more in love. I recently reviewed MUA's 'Starry Night' eye shadow palette here and I was absolutely in love with it...until I tried 'Undressed' and I knew my love lied somewhere else! Don't get me wrong, 'Starry Night' is a FANTASTIC and I think I'll probably use it more on holiday and when the sunny days hit (WHICH THEY HAVE! YAY!) but I think 'Undressed' will definitely be the perfect winter palette. The packaging is classic MUA, black casing with a clear lid, pretty decent when you're buying it and you can see all of the shades. I don't think I'll have a problem with it as I'm pretty careful and no cracks as of yet! Now, I all know you most likely know how much of a dupe this palette is for the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, from the shades to the name, I thought it was absolutely brilliant myself. Now, I don't have the UD palette to compare with you all but I did swatch this baby for you. Now, I'll admit, the matt shades aren't the best, but matt shades never are but oh my goodness, the shimmer shades, the pigmentation is fantastic, easily buildable and just perfect for everyday. My favourite shades have to be either 4 or 7 I think, they are just so darn pretty, and I thought the mini masterclass was a brilliant idea myself. I've done it, it's good! I urge you all to go and buy this palette, for £4 you can't really go wrong, especially as it's neutral, everybody needs this in their collection!

Have you got/used this palette? Did you love it as much as me?

MUA 'Starry Night' palette review

MUA 'Starry Night' palette (£4) - Superdrug

Now, it seems everybody is absolutely loving MUA and I am definitely one of those people! This was the first palette I purchased and I absolutely love it :) C'mon, like seriously, it's only £4! That works out about 33p per eye shadow with the 12 you get in here and the pigmentation for what you have just paid is fantastic. I haven't experienced any fallout when applying these eye shadows which just makes this purchase even better for me as I always, always wear eye shadow! I love how you can make so many different looks with this palette, from the ultimate smokey eye to my favourite, a purple shimmery look :) I think shade 1 is my definitely my favourite shade just because I love a purple look! I'm not going to lie, some of the shades have more pigmentation than others but nothing a little more work won't fix. That really is the ONLY fault I can find with this palette. Worth every single penny, and it's not even that many pennies :D

Have you used MUA before? How about this palette? Did you like it?

Beauty haul ♥

Red magazine* (£3.90) / Glamour magazine* (£2)

This month the magazine's have hit gold once again and I couldn't resist picking up these two. This month, Red have teamed up with REN Skincare and all I've seen are brilliant reviews of this and I thought I could take them on holiday with me so I picked it up. You get 15ml of the Vertiver v7 Hand & Body Cream, 15ml of the Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream and 5ml of the Active 7 Radiant Eye Gel. I couldn't find anything on the hand & body cream but I've only seen good reviews on the other two products so I'm really excited to try them! Glamour have done it again, another brilliant collaboration, this month with Balance Me. I've been looking for a new eye cream and when I saw this I thought why not. I've tried this a couple of times and LOVE it. It really is so soothing around the eyes, let's just see if it makes a difference for me :)

Rimmel 60 Seconds nail polish in 650 - Magnetise (£1) - Poundland

Seriously, Poundland, I LOVE it. You can find the best things in there! I urge you all to go and have a root because you should be able to find something you absolutely love :) I have tried this polish and I don't think it's amazing on it's own, it's very sheer so I'm thinking to using it as a top coat on a nude polish, give it a little something extra, I'll let you know how it goes!

MUA eyeshadow palette in 'Undressed' (£4) - Superdrug

MUA Mosaic Bronzer (£2 for £4 on Eyeshadow Trios, Mosaic Bronzers & Blush or £2.50) - Superdrug

I love love love MUA. I already own the 'Starry Night' palette and I use it practically everyday but I do think the 'Undressed' palette will give it a run for its money! Now, I've not used a bronzer before (shocking, I know!) I just didn't know what to do with one but I took the plunge and bought it. I used it today and LOVED it, won't look back now!

Lemony Flutter cuticle butter* (£5.95) - Lush

I've seen a lot of brilliant reviews of this and I really wanted a cuticle butter to make them look a lot better so my fiance bought me it for a birthday gift (keeper, eh? :D) I love the smell of this, so fresh and seeing as I can use this as a hand cream and on my elbows I think it's totally worth the money!

What do you think of my purchases/gifts? Have you tried any of them?
