I thought I'd give you guys a little taster of my home town, Manchester! Can I really say town? Home city? Oh well, it doesn't matter. This city is home to me and I love it. I always miss it so much when I'm away at university and I don't think I can actually ever get bored of wandering through looking at all the different buildings. What I love the most is how Manchester so effortlessly blends modern and old together. I could start at that all day. Castlefield, the Roman ruins of Mamucium is seriously a place I can spend all day. I love Roman history and it's amazing that there is some right on my doorstep. As for the Cathedral, isn't it stunning? I know it's no York Minster, but it's gorgeous with the old surrounding buildings. On my last note, look at Beetham Tower all looking all majestic, looking over the city. I so want to stay in there one day and sip cocktails in Cloud 23, which is that sticky out bit on it.
