balance Me. Rose Otto intensive lip salve review

balance Me. rose otto intensive lip salve* (Free with Glamour magazine which was £2 but worth £12)

Now, it's not often I don't like a product at all, I usually can find some good points but the flaws with this product really do out way the one good point I've found, which is the lovely rose smell. I just do not get on with this lip salve at all, I have gave it so many chances but I can't get over how synthetic and fake it smells and feels after about 20 seconds on the lips. I don't think I saw a major difference in my lips but I do have the worst lips to work with. They constantly change with the weather so the lip salve could have been doing it good but the weather was the ultimate rival for it. I just don't think this product is for me at all because I'm currently using the balance Me. wonder eye cream and I LOVE it, but more on that in a different review. I really do wish I liked this product but I don't think I'll carry on using. I'm sorry balance Me! If you are interested in trying this, Glamour magazine are offering 4 different balance Me. products and this one is actually full size and retails at £12 so it's pretty much an absolute bargain! All the others aren't full size but are still worth £11 each so I'm thinking of trying to find the moisturiser :)

Have you used this lip salve? Do you like balance Me.?

  2. Oh gosh, when I first used it I was desperate to get it off. I was desperate to get rid of the herby horrible scent but now I've used it for a good week and I've got used to it. Weirdly enough my lips look cracked for the first time ever. Not quite sure how to take that. Glad someone else agrees though!

    1. Oh yay! Somebody who agrees with me! Aha :) I really couldn't see a difference in my lips at all tbh, I don't know if it was the product or the weather but I just can't face putting it on again. I invested in the Lush bubblegum lip scrub instead :D

  4. Ah I got this and actually loved it, but I guess its not everyones cup of tea. I can't personally see it being worth the price though. I personally would not pay £12 on a lip salve :-)

    1. It's weird because I love rose as a smell and that's what put a few people off this, I just think the smell goes too quickly and it starts to smell and feel fake :( I really wanted to love this as well! £12 is a lot of money for a lip salve, even if you love it. I say you buy a few Glamour magazines and stock up :D
