Estee Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher review ♥

So my dear followers, this will be my first review in a sense and I have chosen to review a sample size of an Estee Lauder product. I actually wanted to do this because we all know  that Glamour gave away a Benefit POREfessional this month which is around the same lines as this magic bottle of product.

7ml sample size

You can probably tell that I love this product by the little heart and the fact I call it magic!  I've seen a real difference in my skin with using this, my pores have dramatically reduced in only a few weeks of usage. I have the 7ml sample size but the full size 30ml bottle is £38 but I have to admit, the sample size has lasted a good few weeks and I don't think I'm even half way through the bottle yet.

Anyway, this is what Estee Lauder have to say about it:

This fast-acting serum delivers our most dramatic skin resurfacing benefits-more efficiently than ever before.

With Idealist, your skin looks and feels like your ideal skin:

Virtually poreless.

  • Pores appear 1/3 smaller-instantly.

Unbelievably soft and smooth.

  • Repairs the look of uneven skin texture, flakiness and roughness.
  • Smooth it on and instantly enjoy that soft, seamless, silky feeling you love.

Incredibly clear and even-toned.

  • See more clarity and luminosity.
  • Gives skin an overall more even tone.

In my opinion, I think it's actually done more for my skin than that! My pores have at least reduced by half which is something that I really felt self conscious and my skin texture is absolutely fantastic as well. It has a lovely silky feeling on the skin but it never makes my skin feel greasy at all and my make up looks much much better when using the serum.

Estee Lauder say to apply the serum every morning on clean skin and then to follow with your moisturiser. Doing it this way leaves my skin feeling so soft and luxurious.

Even from the picture you can see how lovely and luxurious the serum is and I will genuinely be devastated when I finish the sample because I am so in love with this product. Ah well, I will have to try and use the POREfessional sample and see which one I prefer and once I know, you know you lovely people will know!

  2. I keep seeing this and am tempted. They do great samples don't they? I am still working my way through a 5ml ANR eye cream when purchasing the Advanced Night Repair serum. Must try and pick up a sample of this at some point.

    1. Ah right, I wish I knew the answer to this but I don't but I don't think this is the product for sun damage, there is nothing on Estee Lauder website to suggest to it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! x
